Christmas month starts tomorrow and by that I mean December, so let's take a look at the best Christmas films to watch this December aka Christmas month. Whether you look to stick to the classics or branch out and try all the Netflix originals, there's a Christmas film for everyone. Don't worry this isn't going to be one of those lists that includes films where it just happens to be Christmas, we're going full on! Let's get those Christmas films on, especially if you're in Tier 3 because what else could you be doing this December?

Elf 

The Ultimate comedy Christmas film is Elf, I don't think there's anyone who doesn't like the film Elf & if you do then you must be one of very few. With the perfect blend of grown up humour and Christmas joy for all ages, Elf is a must watch Christmas film every December, not just this December.  

Home Alone 

I just want to start off by saying, how do you forget the same child more than once? Luckily for us it has meant we have been able to watch Home Alone for plenty of Christmases. Home Alone are films that you can guarantee you will show your grandchildren one day, a Christmas classic! 

Love Actually 

If you love romance and Christmas but have never seen Love Actually can you please explain what you have been doing ?! Bold of me to say but Love Actually is a near perfect Christmas film. Yes girl, you read that right. Now, maybe I am being a little bit biased but its just got so many good qualities! Incredible cast, individual story lines that intertwine and that dancing scene from Hugh Grant. Its just got everything you could need. 

How The Grinch Stole Christmas

Picking between The Grinch and The Nightmare Before Christmas was a close call but How The Grinch Stole Christmas feels just that little bit more whole heartedly Christmassy. Another Christmas film that we have been watching forever and will probably pass on to future generations, classic version only please people. 

 The Muppet's Christmas Carol

If you have never experienced the joy of watching The Muppet's Christmas Carol then I highly recommend you do so immediately. People seem very quick to judge this one but it really is a superb Christmas film, why wouldn't you want to put a spin on a classic Christmas film by having the muppets feature as many of the major characters? Honestly girls, don't judge me just give it a try. 

It was hard to pick just 5 and I'm sure I've missed some peoples faves off but there's plenty of time to watch all the Christmas films your heart desires this December.
