Venturing further afield might not be on the cards, but the UK has got plenty of hot spots that are just waiting to woo you and don’t worry sis, we’ve handpicked the most aesthetically pleasing hotels for you to check into. So, grab your mini suitcase and Polaroid camera, let’s do this.
Liverpool
Stop number one on our magical mystery tour is Liverpool, for a northern city break where the fun never stops. If you’re a party girl, it’s time to head to the city where the music never turns off. Grab yourself your best girls, head to music square and get the drinks rolling. From museums to shops Liverpool has got plenty to keep you entertained, making it the perfect city stay-cay spot.
Our Hotel Pick?? It’s got to be The Shankly. Girls we’re dying to get a reservation at this hotel. This hotel is insta worthy in EVERY SINGLE WAY…did somebody say aesthetic? Leave bae at home and head for a girly weekend with your besties, TBH they’ll take better pics for the gram anyway.
Edinburgh
Next up, we’re venturing a little further afield with a trip to Edinburgh. For our cobbled street lovin' chica’s, pack your best trainers and head up to Scotland ya wee hottie. Visit the famous castles, tour about the colourful streets and maybe even head on a daytime hike #naturegirl.
After a long day packing away fried mars bars and irn bru, we’ll be putting our feet up in The Balmoral Hotel. Another hotel more than fit for a city stay-cay. With marble surfaces and pink touches, this hotel is totally to die for.
London
Let’s take it to the South. London your fave city? We’ve got you covered then girls. Head to the big smoke for a stay-cay stuffed with shopping, red buses and poses outside the palace. Cram your face full with afternoon tea whilst you’re there, before heading to a socially distanced show in the evening.
The Henrietta Hotel is our top pick for a London city stay-cay. This boutique hotel will have you forgetting about the busy central streets the minute you head up the apples and pears. With en-suites fit for a queen, this is definitely a hotel for the polaroid camera we mentioned.
Brighton
Beach more your vibe, babe? Then make the journey to Brighton for a stay-cay at the seaside. For a quiet weekend at the coast Brighton is your go to. Hit the Lanes during the day and shop til you drop and in the evenings take time to chill at some of the local pubs.
After a day of sea breeze, we’ll be staying in The Grand Brighton. The biggest hotel on the promenade, with the cosiest feel inside. This is the perfect hotel for a weekend stay-cay with bae. Order room service and stay in for the night.
Manchester
Last but not least….and potentially (definitely) the greatest city of the UK we’re off to MANCHESTER. Call us biased but there’s no better city stay-cay than Manchester. Serving up sass left right and centre, there’s no way you’ll be short of things to do. Spend the day soaking up the city, exploring the northern quarter and setting fire to that plastic in the shops.
